    A Natchez man is dead, and Louisiana State Police believe a medical condition may have led to the crash which killed him. Troopers responded to the crash on Highway 903 near Ferriday late Friday evening, involving a 2003 Ford pickup, driven by 62-year old Frank Davis.

Finley announced today that a former Concordia Parish couple were each sentenced to 12 months in prison for their roles in a scheme to steal Veterans Affairs benefits over a 10-year period. Alfred Lewis Jr., 67, of Ferriday, La., and Rose M. Lewis, 64, of Natchez, Miss., were sentenced by U.S. District Judge Dee D. Drell.
