The crash occurred about 11:30 p.m. The Churchill County Sheriff's Office responded to the vicinity of mile marker 65 following a report of a body found near the fog line on the west bound lanes.

    At 3:04 p.m., Chase Rowe, 33, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance and failure to obey a traffic control device after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson Meadows Drive and Robinson Street. At the same incident, Lindsie Newman, 32, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of pretrial conditions.
