    State Police and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office effected the combined arrests of Marcus Briscoe, 19, of Fayetteville, Kelly Morton, 18, of Fayetteville, and Carrie Evans, 22, of Fayetteville in connection to an armed robbery at Bandy's Sunoco convenience store on U.S. Route 60. A cashier at the store was able to provide the Sheriff's Department with enough information to begin a search for a suspect who had apparently fled on foot. A review of the video surveillance footage revealed that the suspect and a woman he was with had been inside of the store for a "considerable" period of time before the alleged robbery was reported, which led to police questioning the cashier. 1 comment
