    Two people are in critical condition following a two-car crash that injured four people near the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove Wednesday night. According to police, 34-year-old Christopher Ferchland, of Farmingville, was driving a 2007 Lincoln MKL pickup truck west on Route 25 when his vehicle struck a 2015 Honda Crosstour, driven by 50-year-old Jeanette Acevedo, who was traveling east on Route 25 and attempting to make a left hand turn into the Smith Haven Mall parking lot at about 7 p.m. The pickup truck then hit a utility pole.
