Police in the city reported Lenard Fouche was last seen at 6 p.m. on June 14, driving away from a residence at Mitchelldale and Northend Avenue in a 2001 Silver Honda CR-V, with a Michigan license plate of 5LHL22.

But according to records on file with Oakland County Circuit Court and Farmington Hills' 47th District Court, Nikita Landrum had been dealing with custody issues for more than a year, was the victim of domestic violence at the hands of the children's father, Dariel Walker, Jr., and at one point she and Walker had mutual personal protection orders against each other.

    Campaigning door to door in her first term for office in 2013, Samantha Steckloff discovered people were more interested in whether she was married or had children than they were in her plans for the city if elected. Voters wanted to know how someone who wasn't married and wasn't a mother could be "trusted" to make important decisions for the city if she were elected to the Farmington Hills city council.

    A Detroit man who had car trouble on I-696 was killed Dec. 31 after being hit by two vehicles, including one whose driver was drunk, Michigan State Police report. The victim's name hasn't been released, but police say he was a 45-year-old who had been standing on the roadway and waving other vehicles around his disabled car when he was struck twice on westbound I-696 near Inkster Road in Farmington Hills, at around 1 a.m..
