Two people were injured and a woman faces DUI charges from a rollover on Interstate 94 near the Oriska Rest Area Monday evening. According to a press release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Heather Butler, 33, of Riverside Iowa, was ejected from the vehicle and lifeflighted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for serious injuries, and Michael Kemp, 35, of Santa Ana, Calif., was transported by Barnes County Ambulance to Sanford Hospital, where he was treated and released. Three people were injured when the SUV they were riding in rear-ended a semi-truck on Interstate 94 two miles east of Tower City early Thursday morning. According to a release from North Dakota Highway Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind, just before 1 a.m., the 2007 GMC Yukon, driven by William Sand, 57, of Grafton, rear-ended a 2005 Freightliner and 2015 Wabash trailer that was stopped on the snow-covered left lane of the westbound roadway. A Jamestown man was seriously injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 94 near Valley City Tuesday at about 1:40 p.m. North Dakota Highway Patrol Sgt. Tom Herzig said Jusufu Hargrave, 31, was driving his 2002 GMC Envoy at 75 miles per hour while using cruise control westbound on the interstate when he changed lanes to drive around two semis. Katie Hedstrom of Cooperstown was seriously hurt in a one-vehicle accident on a black top road Monday in Barnes County, north of Valley City, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. According to a release from the Patrol, Hedstrom was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu on Barnes County Road 21, nine miles north of Valley City at 7:30 a.m. The car drifted from the southbound lane into a ditch. Joe Bommersbach, or "Blind Joe" who gained fame when he joined Team Blake on NBC's "The Voice" this year, is planning three local shows next year.
