Officer Hounsell's 4 children were also involved in the crash, but are expected to recover from their injuries, authorities report.

    A Churchill County man was charged with attempted murder, among other offenses, after law enforcement responded Wednesday to a stabbing in Fallon. Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at 4 a.m. Wednesday when they found a 23-year-old man suffering from stab wounds, according to a statement from the Fallon Police Department.
