Resident LaVergne Dunn drew the council's attention to a letter to the editor written by former councilor John Revolinski that appeared in The Ledger July 12. In it, Revolinski recounted how more than 80 percent of 450 people surveyed did not want to pay an extra $1.50 per month for trash carts.
