The Chamber of Commerce event begins when a hook-and-ladder ferries Santa Claus to Sherman Green around 10 a.m., when he'll take his place at the decorated gazebo to hear children's holiday wishes until 2 p.m. The ever-popular children's petting zoo runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting, and wagon rides will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feeling a bit peckish? A food truck will be available with breakfast sandwiches and coffee, as well as hamburgers and hot dogs.
