    Born in Pietraperzia Sicily Italy, he was the beloved husband of Josephine ; father of Leo of Salem, Salvatore Jr. of Everett, Robert and his wife, Melissa of Salem and Sarina and her husband, Diesse of Everett. He was the son of the late Liborio and Rosaria; brother of Michele, Rocco, Calogero, Rosario, Guiseppina, Rosetta, Maria and Vincenza, all of Italy and is also survived by five grandchildren: Makayla, Noah, Monica, Brett and Camrin and by many nieces and nephews.

    Mayor Martin Walsh announced that the City of Boston has filed a civil complaint against the Massachusetts Gaming Commission in connection with the proposed resort casino in Everett and Boston. The City of Boston joined Revere and Somerville in filing a lawsuit against the Massachusetts Gaming Commission in Suffolk Superior Court asking the court to vacate the license agreement given to Wynn in Everett by the MGC last November.

    The City of Revere and a union representing some Suffolk Downs employees filed a lawsuit against the Massachusetts Gaming Commission last Thursday, with the MGC quickly firing back in saying the suit was simply the result of "sorely disappointed" folks who did not get a casino license. The MGC had rejected a similar last-minute objection from Mohegan Sun the day after it voted to give the license to Wynn Resorts.
