    A house at 31623 Route 26 caught fire late Friday and emergency crews were called to the scene at 9:13 p.m. Both occupants - a mother and son - and their dog got out unscathed, but Chief Christopher LaClair described it as a “total loss” for the homeowners. According to Chief LaClair, the cause of the fire will be ruled undetermined due to the substantial destruction of the structure.

    Fire crews were dispatched to 34552 Route 11 just before 10 a.m. Crews had the fire contained within approximately an hour, but Philadelphia Fire Chief Christopher LaClair called the damage “a total loss.” No one was in the house at the time of the blaze, which started downstairs in the living room and spread upstairs, Chief LaClair said. The power was on at the time of the fire, but there was a “boot” restricting electricity in the house.

Aurich, 24, 340 Keyes Ave., pleaded not guilty in Jefferson County Court on Tuesday to two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of fourth-degree conspiracy. The charges, which are from an indictment unsealed in court on Tuesday, are from two incidents in the fall of 2016 in which Mr. Aurich allegedly sold cocaine in the city of Watertown.

Stallings, general manager and National Guard member. Mr. Stallings said the company has been working to place the store since August, and that the building, formerly used for auto dealerships and rental businesses, has been developed since late December.
