    An injured driver was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital following an accident about 1:15 p.m. Sunday in which his vehicle caught fire after rolling into a ditch on Perch Lake Road in the town of Pamelia, according to state police. The unidentified driver's vehicle - also occupied by two children who suffered minor injuries - struck a stone wall and overturned at least once before coming to rest about 18 inches from a house at Perch Lake and Knowlesville roads, causing the siding of the house to melt from the flames' heat, according to Howard J. O'Brien, assistant chief of the Pamelia Fire Department.
