The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services granted the Dixville resort developers a water quality certificate allowing it to withdraw the water it needs to expand the existing resort ski area to four times its current size. It allows for the resort to withdraw up to 21.9 million gallons of water a day from the Androscoggin River in Errol to be used for ski area snowmaking.
