    The pilot, a student of Mountain One Helicopters in Erie, was flying solo from Erie to Greeley, Greeley to Platte Valley Medical Center, Platte Valley to Boulder and back to Erie. About 11:15 a.m., while flying the Greeley-to-Platte Valley leg, the helicopter lost power and fell out of the sky from about 600 feet in the air.
