    The first college football game of the year in Utah came in Ephraim, where Snow College held off Mesa Community College, 24-21 on Saturday afternoon. Former Bingham quarterback Stefan Cantwell connected with Jonah Trinnaman of American Fork for the game's first touchdown, giving the Badgers a 10-0 lead in the third quarter after a scoreless first half.
