    The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help locating a 54-year-old woman who was reported missing Oct. 14. Kelly Evans was last seen wearing a white tank top ans white athletic shorts in the area of White Oak Road in Enola on Oct. 14. The sheriff's office office received a tip last week that Evans was possibly spotted walking eastbound on Highway 225 in Greenbrier. The tipster noted the woman walking along Highway 225 was wearing blue jeans and a hat and was carrying a black and white zebra striped purse.

Adams and Vice President and Lender First Security Bank George Baker Sr. stand with the $5,000 check the bank presented to school officials for improvements to the cafeteria/auditorium. Mount Vernon-Enola Elementary School will start improvements to its cafeteria/auditorium in the next couple of weeks thanks to a $5,000 donation from First Security Bank.

Although the first home demonstration-type work in Faulkner County was done by boys and girls in tomato, poultry and pig clubs, women started forming Home Demonstration Clubs in 1912, when Faulkner County was one of ten Arkansas counties assigned a Home Demonstration agent.
