    A Louisiana man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a Denver judge sentenced him Monday for the murder of a homeless man he shot and killed during a robbery. A jury convicted Makhail Purpera, 31, in August of first- and second-degree murder for killing 54-year-old Wayland Busby on Nov. 5, 2016, according to a news release from the Denver District Attorney's office.
