    A two-week investigation by Elmwood Park police detectives led to two arrests and the confiscation of ecstasy pills with a $2,500 street value. Jack M. Glodzik, 19, of 7839 W. Schubert Ave., Elmwood Park and John T. Reeves, 21, of 10190 Wehrman Place, Schiller Park, were both arrested by police at 3:41 a.m. Oct. 15 while in a car at Conti Parkway and Sunset Drive; 201 ecstasy pills were allegedly recovered.

    A man was recently arrested after an argument with his girlfriend became physical, with him allegedly trying to restrain her by choking her. Sami A. Mottley, 22, of 7541 Fullerton Ave., allegedly used on his girlfriend "dry fired," meaning there was no ammunition in the chamber of .25-caliber, semi-automatic handgun.

    According to a statement published on John Mills School's Facebook page, two students brought bullets into the school, located at 2824 N. 76th Ave, on Oct. 2. The Facebook post has since been deleted; an email from the school to parents addressing the incident was also sent out. Elmwood Park Police Chief Frank Fagiano said when they were notified of the incident, they worked to get to the bottom of it.
