    A routine check of pawnshop transactions turned into the arrest of an Elmont man on larceny charges after detectives learned he made multiple sales to two pawnbrokers in Nassau County, police said. The pawned items were then traced to jewelry stolen during moves by the victims using a moving company where the suspect worked, police said.
