    Work on Eldora Mountain Resort's expansion project is finally underway and new runs at the ski resort could be open by the end of the year. The Daily Camera reports Eldora General Manager Brent Tregaskis says trees are being cut to make way for three new runs and the replacement of two lifts with a single, high-speed lift.

    The mystery surrounding human remains found at Eldora Ski Resort last month continues to grow after several skeletal remains were found just outside that area late Saturday morning. A trail runner discovered the remains which were scattered over a small area to be no wider than 20 feet on a mountainside north of Peterson Lake, approximately three-quarters of a mile outside the front gate to the Eldora Mountain Ski Resort, according commander Mike Wagner with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

When an adult voluntarily picks up and leaves, missing person reports sometimes go unsolved, Beth Buchholtz, Longmont's community service officer, said.
