    Investigators said a Red Ice Castle/Fish House was reported stolen from the Elcho area between Jan. 10 and Jan. 15. It is described as a red v-trailer that measures 6.5 feet wide by 14 ft long. A second theft occurred in southern Langlade County between Jan 17-18.

    It wasn't exactly the most comfortable of margins but the Elcho girls basketball team picked up a win at home Friday even after taking a few minutes to settle in. Down by 10 at the close of the first quarter, the Lady Hornets chipped away at the score, cut the deficit to one at the half, got the lead, upped the advantage and held on for a 42-32 victory over visiting Phelps.
