    A man and woman were arrested early Sunday morning after an officer saw them assault someone on East Clayton Street, Athens-Clarke County police said. The officer reportedly saw the 23-year-old Elberton man falling to the ground while a 22-year-old Elberton man and a 19-year-old Hartwell woman attacked him, according to police.
