    The state Supreme Court ruled this week that as many as 20,667 drunken driving cases could be thrown out because of a State Police scandal that raised questions about test results from DWI breath-testing machines around New Jersey. The decision ended a two-year legal fight over standards for using the machines, which measure blood-alcohol levels, to convict drunken drivers.
