    Literature came to life in Easthampton this weekend when local illustrators, authors, poets and small presses came together for the Easthampton BookFest. The event, hosted by Easthampton City Arts+, drew crowds to 19 different events at Eastworks, Flywheel Arts Collective and shops downtown on Saturday, April 11. Between the hours of 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., attendees listened to local authors and poets read their works, browsed publications at a literary marketplace, celebrated independent publishing at the Pioneer Valley Zine fest and attended artistic workshops and open houses.
