    In response to a number of residential burglaries in Menlo Park's Willows neighborhood, the city will hold a public meeting to discuss the problem at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Laurel School Upper Campus The most recent arrests for residential burglaries in that neighborhood occurred Dec. 20 , when two 16-year-old boys from East Palo Alto were arrested on suspicion of residential burglary. They were booked into Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility on two counts of residential burglary each.

Her colleagues on the five-member board chose her as president in a unanimous vote, and elected Chris Thomsen as vice president and Georgia Jack as board clerk.

Menlo Park detectives found the juveniles - both male, age 16 and residents of East Palo Alto - inside a vehicle police stopped for a code violation at around 4:50 p.m. in the vicinity of O'Keefe Street and Menalto Avenue.

    East Palo Alto's largest owner of low-income housing has secured a $221 million Freddie Mac loan for affordable housing, real estate lending company Greystone announced on Monday, Dec. 19. Greystone, a real estate lending, investment and advisory company, said it is providing the "credit facility" loan to Woodland Park Property Owner LLC. The credit is expandable up to $330 million and carries a 5-year term with two 1-year extension options. The project is managed by Sand Hill Property Company and its affiliate, Woodland Park Communities, according to [www.greyco.com Greystone's announcement.
