    A former Nassau County Correctional Center nurse was arrested Thursday for allegedly smuggling drugs and weapons into the facility while she was employed there, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office announced following a six-week long investigation. Chantiel Cox, 25, was fired from her job Dec. 23 when it was discovered that she carried contraband, a cellphone and a lighter, into the East Meadow facility, according to the DA.
