From 3:45-5 p.m. Games include Tsuro, Munchkin, Chess, Dominion, Flux, Uno, and more. Throwback Thursday Teen Movie Afternoons: Starting at 2 p.m. The summer reading program "On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!" is for children birth to grade 5. You can quickly earn a T-shirt at 200 minutes by tracking 20 minute blocks of time reading or being read to.

    State Rep. Melissa Ziobron hailed the passage of a proposal, House Bill 5583, which passed unanimously out of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, April 26. The bill would require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to enter into an agreement with the town of East Haddam and the Bashan Lake Association regarding a schedule for annual water level draw downs of Bashan Lake in East Haddam. The purpose of this bill is to control water level draw downs and in turn, combat aquatic invasive species, and prevent property damage and erosion.
