    The East Greenbush Central School District's Board of Education announced at its public meeting in July that the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has dismissed all claims brought against the District by former superintendent Angela Nagle. Dr. Nagle had a limited time to file a separate civil lawsuit in federal court on the claims she has made, which she has now done, according to sources at the district.

    The recently departed superintendent of East Greenbush school district has taken her discrimination claims against the Board of Education to federal court, after the federal agency tasked with investigating the complaints dismissed the case. Angela Nagle filed a civil suit in federal court on Feb. 22, three months after the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued a decision saying it was unable to establish that the school district in Rensselaer County had violated federal law in its treatment of Nagle.
