J.R. Westberg, who owns the Parkside Pub in Huntley, told a regional newspaper that his only criticism of East Dundee's plan for its own event the day before Thanksgiving is the organizers' lack of originality.

Elijah Pittman, 28, of the 0-100 block of south Crystal Lake Avenue, Elgin, is charged with aggravated fleeing a police officer, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs and driving on a suspended license, according to a news release from the Kane County Sheriff's Department.
