    Thursday afternoon, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Nancy Russo sentenced a former Pepper Pike Police officer to 33 months in prison, according to Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine. DeWine said in a news release that Jeffery L. Martin, 56, of Bainbridge Township in Geauga County, who also served as an East Cleveland police officer before working for Pepper Pike, was indicted in 2015 on multiple charges after an investigation revealed that he stalked a former girlfriend and pretended to still be an officer in an effort to gain additional information about the woman.
