    A tree in Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan was examined as part of a routine inspection by MDA personal and was found to be afflicted by the invasive species, which kills trees by burrowing into their trunks and sapping their nutrients. As a result, the MDA has put a quarantine on hardwood firewood, ash trees and ash tree limbs from Dakota County, meaning they cannot be moved past county borders.

Elijah David Buchanan, 19, fled from his home at about 11:40 p.m. Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving, after a disturbance involving his family, according to the Eagan Police Department.
