    Sixty-four-year-old Danny Eugene Arthur was taken to Texoma Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition with head and leg injuries, at the time the OHP report was released Friday. According to OHP, Arthur was in a 2014 Silverado boat at 9:30 a.m. Friday traveling the shoreline at Cumberland Cove in Lake Texoma when his vessel hit a stump and overturned.

    Does the severity of the winter have an impact on spring-born calf birth weights? Ranchers have asked that question during many springs and veterinarians have speculated for years. The debate rages on! This is obviously a difficult subject to research because you cannot have a "control" group of cows to compare to a "treatment" group that is exposed to a cold winter while still running on the same pasture.
