    The Piggly Wiggly at Jordan Shopping Plaza in Clinton, referred to as the 'big pig,' is one of four Piggly Wiggly stores that is set to change hands in a sale from the Lindsay family-owned Paramount Foods to Paradise Foods, which operates Carlie C's IGA supermarkets. Paramount Foods Inc., founded over half a century ago by three enterprising Sampson residents who built the brand into four thriving Piggly Wiggly stores, announced Friday that the company will be selling the businesses.
