    The preliminary hearing for a Texan accused of shooting a Redway man dead was scheduled for mid-December during a court hearing this week at the Humboldt County Superior Courthouse, according to the county district attorney's office. Jason Ar=mstrong, 40, of Dumas, Texas, is accused of murdering 40-year-old Redway resident Daneyal Mohammad Siddique in an altercation at the Dean Creek Resort in the early morning hours on Oct. 22. The two men had previously argued late Oct. 21, according to the county sheriff's office, after Siddique objected to Armstrong and a group of people associated with Armstrong loitering around outside Siddique's room.
