    Travis Leon Guthrie Jr., 76, went to Heaven on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, in Chattanooga with his beloved wife, Jane, at his side. He was the oldest of four boys, he was born in Ducktown, to Lucy Carlton Guthrie and Travis Leon Guthrie Sr. He graduated from West Fannin High School in 1958 after serving as co-captain of the football team and scoring the first touchdown in the history of the school.
