The "Chief," as he was known in Belfast, over his working life managed several milk dairies, sold Prudential Insurance for 20 years and then made drawers at Moosehead Furniture, all in Dover-Foxcroft.

In fact, for Mount View, Mark Ward finished first at 138, Zachary Ward first at 145, Jason Barnard third at 160 and Nathan Fuller third at 285.
