Chris Cartwright, general manager at West Pines, made a request to replace the current greens with ultra dwarf bermuda greens, which is a type of turf that is healthiest during the peak time golfers want to play rounds, April through October.

The accident caused the interstate to be blocked for a time, with traffic backing up toward Fairburn Road.
