    A Sidney man is dead and his wife injured following an argument that led to a rollover accident on Interstate 25. Sergeant David Wagener of the Wyoming Highway Patrol says 34 year old Daniel T. Poole died when the SUV he and his wife were traveling in crashed about seven miles south of Douglas, Wyo July 29. In a news release, Wagener says Poole and his wife, Brittany, were reported to be arguing and at one point, Poole reached over from the passenger seat and jerked the steering wheel from Brittany. Wagener says the action caused the 2002 Ford Explorer to skid, leave the highway and roll multiple times.

A statue of Sir Barton - the chocolate-colored thoroughbred who was the first Triple Crown winner in 1919 - marks the final resting place of the illustrious champion at Washington Park in downtown Douglas, Wyoming.
