    According to the agency's Facebook page, officers responded to the 1300 block of South Gaskin Avenue in reference to a 911 call about two people who were shot. Officers entered the residence and found Anthony Marby, 28, in the living room with a gunshot wound to his hand and later also found he had a wound to the back of his head.

    A multi-agency investigation has led to four arrests and the seizure of over $350,000 worth of drugs and $410,000 in cash in Coffee and Jeff Davis counties. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, search and arrest warrants were executed on Tuesday and Thursday after an investigation that started last August.

    Officials with the Douglas Police Department are searching for a man they say ran from police after a traffic stop. According to Douglas PD, the Coffee County Heat Unit pulled over a car that was speeding through a neighborhood on February 8. Officials said that Russ called his mother during the stop, and when he was told he was going to be arrested, he drove away.

    Douglas police arrested a suspected drug dealer after a customer called authorities to report that she had been ripped off. According to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office, police were called to a home on Irma Avenue around 2 a.m. on Friday by what they called an irate customer who said someone stole $100 from her when she was trying to buy crack cocaine.

    According to the GBI, a neighbor reported finding two bodies Saturday around 1:50 p.m., in the 300 block of West Allen Ave. in Pearson. The GBI said Pearson police officers found the bodies of Willie J. Oliver Sr., 72, and Jerome A. Nixon, 62, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Jump tried to run but was caught by the agents when he fell into a ditch and scraped his forehead.

    A man wanted for kidnapping and other charges in Florida was found and arrested in Coffee County on Wednesday, according to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's officials said that Columbus Mizell Jr., 26, was wanted on charges of obstructing justice, aggravated battery, kidnapping, false imprisonment, and theft by the Leon County Sheriff's Office in Florida.

    Coffee County investigators have charged 78-year-old John Huie Douglas with one count of aggravated assault following a shooting that occurred on Georgia Highway 32 East Friday afternoon. Just after 1:00 p.m. on November 17, Coffee County emergency dispatchers advised Nicholls city police that a person was possibly being followed on Highway 32 by some who intended them harm.
