    Senior citizens in Villa Rica could receive an $8,000 discount on the taxable value of their homes, based on a plan approved Wednesday afternoon by the City Council. The council unanimously approved the discount, which could mean that all residents age 65 or older would be able take $8,000 off the assessment value of their homes when calculating their city taxes.
