    As the registration deadline nears for the Nov. 7 election approaches next week, Villa Rica officials are concerned about turnout for city elections, which will include a referendum to give senior citizens in the city an exemption on their property taxes. The deadline for voting in the general election is Oct. 10. Villa Rica residents living in council Wards 3, 4 and 5 will be asked to vote for council members, but all city residents -- including ones living on the Douglas County side of the county -- will be asked to vote on the senior homestead exemption.
