    Ralph Caves, a longtime Douds resident, has laid claim to something no one else can: he helped build the Highway 98 bridge in Douds in 1954 and also recently worked on its replacement, 62 years later. Caves, owner of Ralph Caves Trucking, delivered material to assist the new bridge's construction.
