    Following the lead of Berkeley County, Dorchester County Council voted unanimously Monday to boost its contribution to the region's chief industry-recruiting agency after a few tense months over governance issues. The council decided to donate an additional $36,323 to the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, bringing its total contribution for the year to $86,676, half of what the county gave the alliance during the past fiscal year, according to Dorchester County Council Chairman Bill Hearn.
