Amell, then a 21-year-old Dexter resident, knocked the iconic fountain over when he struck it with his Chevrolet Silverado on the evening of Nov. 16, 2015.

    The drivers and passengers from a car and a truck that collided Sunday afternoon outside of the Dexter Cemetery were transported to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy R. J. Bachmeyer said both vehicles were heading northwest on Route 12E when the driver of the car attempted to pass the pickup truck as its driver was turning left into the cemetery.

    Edward J. Bein, 62, was charged at 12:38 a.m. in the town of Louisville with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content above the state's 0.08 percent limit, police said. In a separate incident, Andy L. Mattice Jr., 23, of 117 W. Bronson St., Dexter, was charged by Watertown city police at 2:22 a.m. Friday in the 1000 block of West Main Street with aggravated DWI and speeding.
