    A 36-year-old Marietta man was sentenced Wednesday in Washington County Common Pleas Judge Randall Burnworth's court to time served and a $250 fine stemming from the theft of a firearm in 2016. Chase Reece Watson, of 108 Iroquois Drive, Marietta, served one day in the Washington County Jail and was sentenced to time served after also spending time at the North Central Regional Jail and receiving rehabilitation for drug addiction in West Virginia.

Haught III, 32, of 8620 State Route 339, pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony, and possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, Thursday in Washington County Common Pleas Court. Haught was found passed out in a vehicle at a local BP Car Wash in May 2016 where he was later revived and consented to a search of his vehicle.
