    Cumberland wrestling coach James Hicks announced the team's 2018-19 schedule this week, which includes three home duals as well as the annual Cumberland Open at Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena. The Phoenix will open the season Nov. 3 at the Patriot Open in Williamsburg, Ky., and travels to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Grand View Open on Nov. 10. CU will take part in the Joe Parisi Open in St. Charles, Mo., on Nov. 17 and the Indiana Little State Championships on Dec. 1 in North Manchester, Ind.

    Four Cumberland wrestlers senior Brandon Weber, junior DeAndre Jones, sophomore John Olivieri and freshman Shota Sisco all qualified for the NAIA Championships set for March 2-3 in Des Moines, Iowa, as announced by the national office on Tuesday. All four of Cumberland's participants were automatic qualifiers through competition this past weekend at the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Ky., with Sisco placing third and Jones taking fourth in their respective weight classes.
