    A second Broomfield church is stepping up to address affordable housing - this time with a project aimed at helping foster children who age out of the system Lutheran Church of Hope, 1305 W. 10th Ave., is donating land and collaborating with Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains, a Denver nonprofit organization, to bring an apartment project to fruition by the end of next year. The project, which is expected to cost between $750,000 and $850,000 to build, will go before the Broomfield Advisory Board on Affordable Housing on June 12. A local architecture firm already has donated time to help with the project design.
