    Crews will close the southbound lanes of I-35E for 2 nights in a row as they move several 340,000 pound beams over the roadway. On Friday night starting at 11 p.m., the 35Express Project will shut down southbound I-35E from I-635 to Royal Ln. The closure will last until 6 a.m. Saturday, and then the same stretch will shut down again Saturday night at 11 pm until Sunday morning at 6 a.m. Crews will be moving several large beams over the interstate to create the new express lane system; each beam measuring about 125 feet and weighing about 340,000 pounds.
