    An investigation into a home burglary earlier this year in which several thousand dollars worth of items were taken has led to arrest warrants for three adults and three juveniles, Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon said. Two of the adults are currently in jail in other jurisdictions, one is at large and the three juveniles were arrested earlier this month, Falcon said in a news release.

    As the family of a critically wounded East Baton Rouge sheriff's deputy continued their vigil at the hospital Wednesday, friends and former classmates pulled together to plan fundraisers and prayer services for him. Nick Tullier, 41, suffered gunshot wounds to the head and stomach during an ambush Sunday on Airline Highway in which three Baton Rouge law enforcement officers died and three others, including Tullier, were injured.

    Brandi Robinson, 29, of Livingston, was sentenced July 13 to 15 months behind bars for conspiring to counterfeit money, Green said. Philip J. Slay, 28, of Denham Springs, pleaded guilty to conspiracy and two counts of counterfeiting and was sentenced April 20 to 40 months in prison, he said.
