The council's approval includes several conditional-use permits and a "precise implementation plan" for Meijer's proposed 159,000-square-foot supermarket, drive-thru pharmacy and fuel center in a growing development near Interstate 43 and Highway 50. That development already features a Mills Fleet Farm, which is expected to open next month.
